from reading your thread, seems like wife and man is going around, hurt - distrust - rebuild a bit the relationship but wife and man still living tensely. wife keep ringing man and man scared to death from every step he makes.
think Trust needs time to develope, also effort and patience. In fact, people have different level of "trust". Tell man how you feel secure with him, and what he could do to make you feel better. Communicate more would help....don't let the past ruin the present and future, truely forgive/forget.

good point. what exactly happened? and may i ask - what exactly is meant by socializing? and with whom may this socializing have been done?
