Supposing what you're saying is true, I don't see why you should be waiting on/for this girl. Listen to advise given so far; move on.

Yet again.... MOVE ON hon!
One of my girlfriend said the same thing to her ex-bf... need to have personal space... could ONLY have 2-3 hours/week for him as she has 'business meetings' and friends to meet up with... refuse to let the guy to pick her up after a party blah blah blah... all the the business meetings end up to be held at LKF at late hours with an extra phone number in the phone list....
If you are un-happy in the relationship. GET OUT OF THERE!

OMG - then you should bring your partner to the party.

u can do the same - go out and meet other girls and leave her when you find someone who much deserves you, there's thousands and thousands of sweet, loyal and beautiful women dying to have a man just like you!

i think we all agree this girl is taking you for the ride. agree with space-dust, esp if you've already established your own life there in the last 3 years there, have a good job, love the place, uprooting yourself for her and start all over again elsewhere just doesnt justify it. so go out and meet other girls and for all you know, you can really find the one who treats you with equal respect you. and well....this may or may not be a good thing but if you start to "stray" she may realise you're not always there for her and she'll stop taking you for granted. if she wants more space, give it to her, but in the mean time, free yourself.

Sounds as if your girlfriend's stringing you along & perhaps is too scared to be the adult and end your relationship. This then allows her to be the "victim" after the breakup and hence all her friends and family will sympathize with her...sorry but if you're not happy then you know it's not going to get any better even if stayed around.

Hi. Havent read all the replies but here is my slant on things.....She is hedging her bets....keeping you on the side just in case nothing better comes up. You are obviously a decent and kind person and she would be a fool not to want you in her life in some way, so she is hanging on. I suspect that if you "back off", she will respond to the lack of attention by seeking you (reverse psychology of sorts). If she doesnt, she is not interested in you. My husband and I (pre marriage) spent every waking moment together when we could around work and time with friends and family was normally a shared experience too. We certainly had time apart too (boys night out, etc), but we were always pleased to be together.
You know, we (all of the above) could be wrong and havent given your girlfriend the benefit of the doubt. She could simply be in need of "some space". Re: the picking up thing....it's a nuisance to be picked up but your wonderfully chivalrous beau, but it puts pressure on to be "on time" so I agree with your gf there.
Hmmm.....follow your heart yourg man. What's your heart telling you?

It works every time!!
Back off her completely, no telephone calls or sightings at all for a week. She will come crawling back to you and if she doesn't, it proves everything to you!!
