I haven't ...., but I wish :P.

I bet you can't just rub and run. If you rub, you obviously has the intention of going further. Except where the rubbing is mutually seen as nothing at all. But, then again, it'll depend on the extent of the rubbing. 'Cause some 'rubs' can be wowwwww!! ... oh! so I've heard :P.

Rubbing ears?? Isn't that what you do to a dog??

Or perhaps pinching the ear of an errant child?

Never heard of it as a sexual advance though, lol!

I'm sure they do but I still think it sounds ridiculous......rubbing another person's ear without warning or apology, lol!

I've been known to bite a few ears, but that's between me and Mike Tyson.

I'm more alarmed that they are all teachers JC, or did I just subliminally assume that??? Either way, potsmoking ear-rubbin teachers ain't great for our future minds!

Nemesis - yes after a few weeks respite I see that AX is still as bonkers as ever!

Maybe she had a bit of fluff on her ear and he was rubbing it off for her???

I have to say, this whole 'ear rubbing' debate has had me in stitches, I have even asked the girls at work what they reckon it means. They all reckon this guy is a perve, lol!

An ear perve....reminds me of that song in The Mikado by Gilbert and Sullivan.....about being attracted to the elbow etc. obviously sending up all that gushing romance stuff....

What about if we say 'ear tickling', rather than 'rubbing'?

Indeed, most folks will agree with me that tickling/touching/licking of the ear (especially during 'the do') is common... gee, am I experienced :P.

I agree however that one could be seen as a weirdo if s/he does this to others all the time just for the fun of whatever of it.

maybe he watch too many of these while you are working :-) Never show your dog how to use a DVD player.

Seriously ears are a sensitive points. If a girl stroke my ears I would assume she has a pure heart, but no pure intentions.

Knowway! - that is hilarious, I actually laughed out loud when I read your post.

Strangely enough, I find this whole ear-touching thing far more alarming than if he touched her shoulder or neck. I can't explain why but it unsettles me.
