It sounds like you both want different things from each other and that it's time to move on. His ideal is a zero/low-maintenance girlfriend and up to now - your breaking point? - he has had a fairly good thing going: he takes you for granted until you eventually react, then comes up with excuses that you must have accepted time and time again over these past three+ years. He ain't going to change his attitude to you - why should he? You put up with it! So he's sitting there very happy with his compliant girlfriend, not to mention free maid service. Result! If I were you I would face up to the fact that any more time spent in this (one-way) relationship would be a waste of any more of your life. Your ideal is someone giving you more attention and affection, something that he can't or isn't prepared to give. If knowing your needs was important to him, he would have made more effort. If you can't live with it as it is now, put the relationship, which has run its course, down to experience. Be strong and dump him, difficult as that might be do do. One bonus: you would also be able to relax, knowing that you're no longer breaking the law by sending your maid to clean his flat as well as yours... Good luck!

In fact, this is pretty common in a relationship. I would say :you simply take it or leave it.

Now I'm confused, Never.

I was under the impression from previous posts/threads that you had left your boy-friend, were still affected by this, were not satisfied with the sexual part, and that you had a new boy-friend who satisfied you on that front..... So, ...3 years???...

Where did I get it wrong?

Am I confusing with someone else??
