i will be moving to hong kong at the end of the summer, as my partner is living in hk presently (Native), and i will be looking for a job. Advice given to me was to obtain a TEFL cert so i may teach english, is there a demand for english tutors. Also with regards to visa requirements, i believe i may get a skilled fresh graduate visa which means i may come to hk without securing a job offer for 1 year, is this correct?
any feedback woulod be
great
cheers

thanks for the advice cara, i am from Ireland, basically i am moving to HK to be with my partner. i understand that Irish citizens can get a 1 yr working holiday visa, but i fear due to the financial crisis at the moment, the availability of part time jobs would be scarce to support myself for the full year, especially as i do not speak cantonese nor mandarin. anyone have any idea on what part time jobs may be open to me?
Cheers
