Can anyone tell me what the going rate of pay/conditions are for a qualified Kindergarten teacher.

Thanks very much. I am just returning to HK after a couple of years. That seems a very wide range. Am I right in thinking that the $15 would be part time or is that a local kindergarten?
I am looking at returning to an International Kindergarten. I have been offered a couple of jobs but salaries really vary and I just wanted to check. I have a QKT

Thanks for your help. I have been offered $13000 per month. 8am-12.30 Monday to Friday with all the school holidays off and paid (similar to ESF) Very small class sizes and an hour a day for prep, so am thinking that that is probably average.
Its so hard to know when you first move somewhere as every where seems to have different rates of pay and I hate the thought that I am being taken for a ride. However I don't want to ask for something totally out of range. I also hate the fact that you have to say your expected salary upfront, its such a hard balance to find.

I think 13K for an unqualified teacher (qualified kindergarten teacher) is a gift horse - dont look it in the mouth !!!
