Hi everyone,
Does anyone know how long it takes to get a spouse visa for Hong Kong? And can you work on it?
My current situation is that I am french, currently living in London.
Thanks!

Hi I have a question on this topic too...I have just got a job offer in HK, if I take the job, the new company will sponsor me for my work visa there. In which case, my wife and son will be relocating with me to HK. My question is - do they need to apply for the dependant visas at the same time as my potential new company apply for mine? Or can they apply for them while they are in HK (on tourist visa) after I have got mine? We are British, and are currently in the UK.
Thanks

You can apply for theirs after yours has been approved, once they have arrived in HK. It involves a bunch of paperwork, but otherwise it is very straightforward, as for your family, you are the sponsor (unlike yours where your company is the sponsor).

Hello,
If your spouse is legally permanent in HK. Then you already submitted your documents to Immigration, then you have to wait the Letter from Immigration and I it takes about a month. Then if you asking about working in HK. Yes, your eligible/legally work here. But first you have to apply your HKID for verification that you legally live here with proper document like depending visa .
