Hi,
i am here for help and advice.so pls advise me cos i am close to desperate.
i graduated from university for 2 years and been working for the same time ,the only problem is that i change 2 jobs in the past 2 years and now i am again looking for job .so whenever i go to an interview ,the employer will think i am not stable or impatient and because of this they turn me down .apparently i can manage the job and i have all the skills needed .what i want to say is that when i just finish school ,i was 22,i was too young ,to know what i really want and made the wrong choice in life .so i was with one job for one year and the other one year.i was trying to figure it out what kind of job i want for my future and where i want to work .but all these sounds an unstable employee to the employer who always change and dont know what she want .well ,i was in the situation before and thats why now i know what i want and what i can do .but they just dont give me an opportunity.what should i do ?? i have been to a couple of interviews wherei show professional presentation, excellent english /biligual,good communication skills and persistent attitude.but all these seem help little .what should i do in such a situation ??

advice?? stay with your current job.
I wouldnt hire you for the same reason you listed. 2 jobs in 2 years; I would think,
1)you're salary jumping
2)you werent able to assimilate into the company culture thus leaving
3)your glass is full (ie you think you know everything therefore you learn nothing)
and btw your post was incredibly difficult to read. I would bet a round of beers that you're an emotional type. one that gets all worked up over the smaller thing and it affects your judgement and your work.
HUGE assumption i know, but just a guess.
goodluck

exactly you are young......if you don't land your ideal job right now just realise that you have your whole life ahead of you. It's most likely that those people interviewing you just found someone a little older and more experienced than you for their positions, and you just were one of many qualified people interviewing.
2 jobs in 2 years at your age is hardly unusual!
But once you find what you love........find a way to stick to it and make it more than just work and actually your passion. That makes it less about what "they" are giving you and more about what you are creating withint your own sphere of influence. Show initiative and it will shine through on your job interviews and resume.

When I got out of school I was no closer to know what I wanted to do for the rest of my life then when I went in. In my day, there were no counsellors or anything like that. You either knew or you did what you were told. Nowadays there's all kinds of stuff.
Yajiecho, maybe it would be a good idea to do what expat2006 suggests and get to know your own strengths. One of my friends kids did a personnality profile last year at KGV to help him find out his strengths and also make the right university choices. My friend said that the profile even suggests the best types of jobs for his kid to consider. It was a HK company that did this for the school so if you want more details, let me know and I'll find out.

I think the post was badly written but it was almost like a burst of indignation and desperation, no taking THE SILLY LITTEL lAWS OF grammar into account and why not here.
Fair enough because so would I if I was in thier position.
Never make your work your passion, passion is 100% reserved for your free life. Unless you are one of those lucky people who manage to get a job that is also their hobby.
Right dont turn your interviewes into nightmares. Explain why you had two jobs, clerly. best to sy you felt uncomfortble in the first as it was beneth your capacity and the second was a stepping stone interim thing while you looked for the real job.
Now dont belittle the previous jobs but say that thy taught you so much of the background experiance and chain of comand in such and such and you feel you now have almost the perfect experience because of that time spent in the reL WORKS nd cogs of such and orgnissation, make it sound s though your wee truly blessed to have been ble to start scrtch up.
Use those two jobs dont hide behind them tell everyone how much that has helped you see the greater picture etc etc etc.let them them know what you are bringing to the table, its real worth, and of course it is all truth be told.
