UK Nurse looking for work!

I have applied to HK nursing board to sit the licensing exam, but as I’m peads trained they say I need a different exam which they haven’t written yet. I have been waiting nearly a year. I’m currently working as a nanny, which I find so boring and is starting to drive me slightly mad.

I have applied to a lot of clinic jobs but they all seem to come back with the same thing……they wont sponsor me for a visa.

Any ideas where I can do more nursing work than what I’m doing currently?

Thanks

I am also a Paediatric nurse from the UK. I have been in HK for a year and been accepted by the nursing council to sit the exam. but everytime I ring them they keep saying about having to wirte the paper!! I have no idea what or when to start revising as they seem no further along than they were in sept 2011.

I have been luckly enough to find a job as a nurse in a private clinic although I am having to work with adults and children but I can at least use my skills and experience. I am married but only recently and found it difficult to find any one that would sponser me, but I was given some advice on how you may be able to obtain a visa in your own.

also before I found my nursing job I looked at anumber of other positions where you can be a health care adviser to new mums giving advice on babies devlopment. this might help use your skills better. and many said they would consider sponsering me

i would love to meet up and chat as its so nice to hear of someone in the same situation.
