Before you think about moving/working in Hong Kong, why don't you come and visit for a short time (I'm not sure how many days Canadian passports are allowed visa free entry into Hong Kong) for you to see whether Hong Kong is your kind of place.

I am 100% sure I want to be there. That is where my fiancee is. :P Plus I like the area. I just need like help on jobs and like finding ways to stay there as long as possible. Or even someone helping me get a job so when I do come I can start right away.

you sound like my wife when I first met her : )

with a Canadian passport you can actually stay in Hong Kong for 90 days and you have 3 options after

1) leave Hong Kong and come back, get another 90 days

2) get a job here that will sponsor so you can get a work visa

3) get marry and get a dependent visa

If you have some sort of education you can consider working at as a Native english teacher in a playgroup or tutorial centre. Pay is not that great but at least get you started.

You are welcome to PM me if you want more info, I like to help my fellow Canadian : )
