shifting to another job

Hi gud day im a filipino helper 23 yrs. Old im staying here in hk for about 3 months and half but i want to break my contract because my boss and i are not in good terms she wants me to clean the house before i go out during my day offs and and come home 8:30 pm so that i can still wash the dishes wash their clothes clean the bathroom and iron some clothes and letting the baby slip before i can take a rest..and every day the baby and i go to his grandmoms home and i tidy grandmoms home as the auntie take care of the baby...i think its illegal right so i just want to break contract and also to find a job but not as a helper...


My question is this...

can i find another job here that can sponsor my visa but not as a helper?

I think that all helpers who have university degrees would like to do the same. I would say it's next to impossible though...

I would think that it is possible if (1) You have an employer willing to sponsor your non-fdh work visa, (2) You have skills that the the employer really needs, (3) The employer can prove to the immigration department that he can't find your skills locally.

To be honest im not a degree holder but i am a experience worker so my posibility is just 50/50?

Just ask yourself why would a HK employer hire you. Do you have any special skill/training that makes you stand out from everybody else who are looking for a job?


Your best bet would be to go back to your home country and find something different there. Your chances to do so here in HK is quite poor.
