Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum. Hope you can help me out :)
I'm 24 and will graduate from my Masters degree in International Marketing and Communication next month. Wanting to boost my resume, I am looking for an (summer) internship in Hong Kong.
Can anybody give me some advice how to find a position? Have checked many job websites already, but I always seem to be one out of sooo many applicants.
How about internship agencies in HK?
Thanks for your help!
Ps. Any others looking for an internship? Lets connect, maybe we can help each other!

I know somebody that did an internship in Hong Kong, they found it via a agency called Next Step Connections.
Basically you pay them a fee and they will find you an internship and sort out the visa etc but I don't think its cheap and the internship is usually unpaid.

Yeah, if you want to go through an agency it really isn't cheap.
I'm looking for an internship myself, but can't really find any other way than to use internship agency. For almost a year I tried to find either an unpaid internship myself (so that it wouldn't cost for me, but I wouldn't get paid either), or a temp job or smth like that.... Nothing... Neither in my home country, nor somewhere else. I used to send out my cv's, motivation letter's and my portfolio's all over the world.... Didn't get anything...
So, the only solution for me is, at least at the moment is to try an internship agency....
There're many agencies of this king, one of them is The Intern Group. That's the only one I found that accepts applicants not only from all over the world but every month... Cause other only have summer internships or smth like that. And this one has the start date on every months first saturday....
They help you with accommodation, visa, give you HK public transport card topped up for the whole you're where, local cellular phone and organize all sorts of trips and events as an extra. At least they should give you all that.... I'm not too sure. They've only introduced Hong Kong internships this year, and first applicants will arrive only in July...
But it's not that cheap, although, if you'll consider the fact that accommodation in HK can be really price what they ask for might not sound that expensive.
Well, if you want to contact me or anything, just say so, I'll give you my details....
But I'm quite confused at the moment myself, as I'm not too sure whether I'm suppose to choose Hong Kong or some other place...

P.s. My email is pthapa@essex.ac.uk and thank you so much for replying.
Kind regards,
