Dependant work visa

I have been sponsored by my company to work in HK however my boyfriend doesn't have a work visa or a job. If we were married and he was considered my 'Dependant', would that give him the right to apply for a work visa and therefore then be able to apply for jobs?

yes
if you are married then you can sponsor him and he will get dependent visa, and he can work freely without any restrictions.

I moved to Hong Kong at the start of this year with my husband. He was my sponsor and I applied and got my dependent visa (very quick and smooth process) and this dependent visa allows me to work as and when I like ie you don't need to then apply for a further work visa, your dependent visa in itself allows you to work legally here.
