Visa refustal - next steps.

I am writing seeking advice for my current situation.

I have been working in HK for a year, I was on a working holiday visa from the beginning to facilitate coming in and out for job interviews, The visa is about to expire so recently by employers applied for the Official Working Visa; which has just come back refused. apparently on the grounds that it was not sufficiently proved that I was more skilled than local labour. I dont believe there is an appeals possibility?

After some quick research I have found some options, but not sure about which to take:

- Apply for a second working holiday visa on my other passport, which may not even be possible but will buy some time.
- Set up a sole proprietorship business and prove the work I have been doing here in HK.
- Long stay visitor visa on defacto basis.
- Transfer from the Company I used to work for in France who are also associated with my HK employers.
- Trainee visa??

If anyone out there been in a similar position to this, I would really appreciate some advice.

Even a good immigration lawyer's info would help.

there are a lot of solutions, find a job and see if they will sponsor visa.

what are your qualifications, passport color etc.. all depends

For me the thing is that I am doing a german apprenticeship program, comparable to a management training but with a duration of 2 years. And I want to start my part time bachelor degree next year.

The problem is that I have heard that without a bachelor degree it is rather difficult to get the VISA from the government,... because even if the company applies it is very likely to get rejected. That is why I am searching for another way to stay in Hong Kong for 18 month more after that at least.

I don't think that bachelor degree should be any issue as long as you can demonstrate that you are suitable for the job and bring in new skills which are not available easily.

Now, that can be done in various manners and I think space here does not permit me to give you examples.
