                                    Hi all,
Many years ago when I was young and stupid and in a very destructive relationship I worked in HK and built up some credit card debt and also had outstanding income taxes.
I ended up settling the income taxes, but honestly, only after I was prevented from leaving HK and worked out a payment schedule.
I began a payment schedule for the credit cards, but as soon as my income tax was cleared and I was given permission to leave, I left. I didn't end up settling my outstanding credit cards. I know its no excuse, I should have owned up to the credit card debt, but again I was young and stupid and in a destructive relationship.
Fast forward about 15 years later, I have a chance to work in HK for a very reputable company.
I cleaned up my act and have kept my financial records clean. I'm pretty sure there was a writ summons on my credit card debt on record in the HK courts, but as I said this was ~15 years ago.
My question is will this prevent me from receiving an Employment Visa?
Many thanks in advance.
