Hi there.
A friend of mine who has a Mainland passport is planning a trip as follows:
- Start from Mainland
- Transit via Macau for one day
- From Macau, go directly to HK Airport
- Fly to a third country from HK airport
Would this work without obtaining any visas advance and relying on the transit visa in Macau?
Obviously it would work if they were flying out from Macau Airport, but I did extensive research and couldn't find any info, even in Chinese, on whether this would work if they are going via HK airport. Would it be possible to enter Macau for transit if the trip to the third country is from HK airport?
