Hello Everyone,
I am a canadian and just got approval in principle for QMAS visa. I am planning to move to Hong Kong in couple of months.
I have an MBA from UK, Post MBA Graduate certificate in Finance from one of the top business schools in Canada and Certified Credit Professional - CCP dsignation from Credit Institute of Canada with 5 years experience as commercial Account Manager with most recent position as Senior credit analyst - commercial banking. I would appreciate if someone can answer the following?
1. How is the banking job market in Hong Kong nowadays?
2. What salary can I expect based upon my education and experience?
3. I don't know any chinese language, how would that affect my chances or English is enough to get a good job?
4. Is it 5 days work week?
Thanks for your valuable inputs in advance.
Cheers!

Thanks a lot cookie09 for this valuable information. Do the banks also have life / health insurance and pension plans where both employee and employer make contributions? Is there any housing allowance as well?
Cheers and have a great weekend!
