My baby is a year old and I chose to breast feed. My problem is the irregular periods, which I know happens while your breast feeding. The thing is last two week my legs hurt and cramping in abdomen and know its a sign that I will get my periods soon. But some how it never seems to happen. Its like stuck there somewhere, it might sound funny, but it feels sick, swelling. Can some one advice. I thing I need some pills to get my periods regularized .

It is not unusual for your menstrual cycle to be irregular while you are still nursing. Some women even have their cycle stop temporarily if their baby begins to spend more time at the breast.
It would be best to see your OB/GYN for a examination to determine if your period is just delayed, or if you might be pregnant.
