I am suffering from a very painful frozen shoulder which my GP has prescribed anti-inflammatories for. I know that these are difficult to treat. I wondered if anyone had any success with physio, osteopathy, acupuncture etc and if so would appreciate specific details of practitioners names, numbers etc or anything else that helps!

Frozen shoulder has different stages and it last for 1 to 2 years. With my experience, the very painful stage without any stiffness of the joint usually responses well with acupuncture, but needs to keep some exercise in order to prevent it getting stiff. Later stage (with less pain but tight capsule) will definitely required physio treatment to loosen it up. In our physio centre or down in town, you can find a physio who could perform acupuncture and physio treatment. They probably could help you.
