Earlier inthe week I visited a doctor and received many pills and potions to take care of a chest infection/cough flu I seem to have finally succubed to after 5 weeks in Hong Kong. It seemed OK for a couple of days but now has seemed to recur.

do I have to repeat the process?

Go back to the same doctor and ask for more anti-biotics ?

I'm fairly sure I didn't need the rest of it.

Also I have been told I can buy antibiotics over the oc*nter at a pharmacy. Will they be the same as those a fdoctor prescribes or are they not as strong?

Any advice would be geatly appreciated

tahnks

IT was for a chest infection. Sorry I disturbed you - it's people like you who make others reluctant to communicate or ask questions - jerk!

It wasn't my intention to be reckless - I really was in considerable pain at the time - hurt to breathe and coughing was a nightmare. I just figured that if I returned to the doctor I would maybe go through the exact same thing. Since I am new to HOng Kong I was trying to find out what was normal under the circumstances here - 5 tablets just didn't seem like a full course to me.
