Garda parasite

Has anyone heard of the parasite 'garda' (not sure of spelling)? I believe it causes diaarrohea. Advice please!

It's called giardia. Do a search on google and you'll find heaps of info. I think you get it from drinking water contaminated by this parasite.

It is a common cause of chronic diarrohea. it is dignosed by examining the stools. It resonds very well to treatment witha not-too-expensive anti-biotic.Anybody with repaeted episodes should have themselves checked.
