I have taken HGH under Dr specialist in anti-aging. Its very good for older men & women from 45yrs and up. Take only HGH which must be injected into your belly and not those prescibe in pills or spray type which are not effective. Do a Google search there are infinite articals written about HGH. Not for Children after the age of 8-10 yrs old. by that time the bones have more or less "Fused". Just plan waste of money.

BE VERY CAREFUL. HGH is dangerous-- too much can cause acromegaly--abnormal growth. Taking too much HGH can cause your organs to enlarge, your jawline to get bigger and more masculine and your ears to grow to an abnormal size.

No one knows what the right dose is for an individual. It might give you better skin, but you'll look like a wrestler.

HGH only works in injectible form. If you take pills or the spray it the HGH gets broken down and it wont absorbed. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something that cant possibly work, ask a qualified doctor, they will confirm this as they did for me.

Some men going through a kind of male version of menopause can sometimes get hormone therapy (injcetions) including HGH. Or at least you can in Australia. I have only been living in HK for a month so I wouldnt know where to go here.

casr66bs could you recommend your doctor? what are his/her contact details?

HGH taken correctly can apparently help you sleep better, loose weight, give you more energy/better recovery after a gym workout. I am not sure how effective it is for the appearence of your skin.

The side effects also include carpal tunnel syndrome. The medical research into HGH usage (I think there are articles about it in "the lancet" which is a very well known academic medical journal) is mainly based on a single 12 month study. Long term effects are not known.

(NB there are no studies on the effects of non-injectible hgh have not been done because it is simply not possible for you to absorb hgh by taking it internally).

Can a 13 year old boy tolerate Enjuvenate? My son is a little shorty -- what dose should he consider taking in order to kick-start his growing? How long should he think of taking it?

So the bottom line is that very few people actually know what they are talking about but plenty are willing to offer ill informed opinion.

As someone who has used Growth Hormones for sporting purposes in a controlled and proper manner I can advise that most of the good PR is true, the negatives purely hearsay and BS.

I do agree that administering to a child is very dangerous and should only be considered under qualified, clinic conditions and frankly you get few such qualified professionals here in Asia.

The only HGH that e]works is the injectable kind that is quite expensive. You are wasting your time with the oral pills. Jim from New York City

Several things come to mind.

1. The horror stories are mostly BS.

2. Most MDs are NOT up to date on anything new or out of their field. Do your own research and have your own blood tested, find places online.

3. Prices are coming down and down. I pay 2.30$/iu. Injection only, into the fat on your belly, easy.

4. Hgh does a lot of good things. Improves sex, skin, sleep, overall attitude. Healing.

Don'tlisten to people who want to scare you. They don't know what they arte talking about.

As stated above hGH in spray or tablet form will not work. If you look at the structure of hGH (also called somatotropin) it is a protein-like hormone and would be metabolized before entering your system - this is fact.

There are way too many products on the market like this however not one has a clinical peer reviewed study to back them.

hGH can work but should be approached with much caution as is a powerful drug that may not only cause some of the side effects mentioned but may even disturb you natural endocrine system.

For the use of hGH on growth hGH should only administered under medical guidance and only in cases where absolutely necessary such as a diagnosed deficiency.

not so - HGH is the premier anti-ageing hormone, and can be used with excellent effect. You do need the guidance of a skilled doctor.

Because it is a wonderful substance when used properly in anti-ageing medicine. Nothing wrong with getting old naturally, but if you want to know your options of what to do when you are ageing, then you need to know that HGH is a good option - nay, the premier anti-ageing hormone. But if you choose not to make use of it - fine. No need to.

On the other hand, if you are contemplating using HGH to increase the size of a short child - stop. Do not do it. See an experienced doctor, and even then, check. It may be the correct thing to do, but it needs to be done properly.

docboat, you are telling me that hGH is 100% safe.... I think not…. and there is more than enough research to back that up.

There is evidence that it MAY have anti-ageing effect however whenever man tries to cheat Mother Nature there is always a price to pay.

Saw a program (I think it was 60 Minutes or may be Discovery) and the doc said that HGH can have side effects that include increased risk of cancer.
