the way to really get rid of this fungus is to clean up your diet, and de-stress your lifestyle.

go on an anti-candida diet.

Try Green Tea Oil, effective for my friend

You may have already tried this, but this worked for me. After a shower, towel-dry the areas then blast them with a hairdryer until thoroughly dry! I know it sounds ridiculous but it helped clear a persistent fungal foot infection I had - although I got funny looks in the gym. I think it's a combination of the extreme heat and the fact that you end up completely dry.

I used this in conjuction with an antifungal cream and made sure I washed all towels daily.

Well, when fungus appear, it signals some problem with the gland. Keeping your foot dry as suggested by Sony2 could help but what we cannot control is when the foot sweats when we walk around the day with our shoes on.

Try soaking your feet for about 10 mins in basin of warm water mixed with about 3~4 teaspoons of soda bicarbonate (or enos fruit salts). Don't rinse or wipe with a towel. Let your feet dry naturally. Do this last thing at night. Took about a week of daily soakings before I started seeing results. But it finally got rid of the nasty stuff.

So many remedies previously, but my husband had this problem, along with a horrible odor. I know this is basic advise also, but to the doctor's order we soaked his feet in a bleach and water mix, only wore white socks, even under dress socks when necessary, and no mushrooms in the diet. This of course with medical application. Try an Internist for a true diagnosis.

Baiyun,

Try using the Grean Tea Oil I used, effective. I used to have this problem but now it's ok.

I had the same problem, which always flared up when I frequented the gym. Wearing flip-flops (beach thongs) on my feet in the shower definitely helped, as did sunning my feet (and my privates) when possible. A cream called 'Lamisil' really did the job (bought in South Africa). O fcourse I wore sandals as much as possible!

I have had fungus infection in my toenails and a friend who is a dr. said none of the creams, etc will work. The Griscofulvin mentioned above is pretty old fashioned but does work on skin fungual infections but needs to be taken over a long period of time.

What worked for me was Lamasil tablets - taken on a pulse dose - can't remember the details - week on week off i think. It is expensive but my friends said he knows of nothing else that really works. I took it about 4 years ago and only recently begin to feel recurring signs. Does anyone know if it is available in GZ>

Ditto with jfarreast; for the nail fungus, Lamisil is definitely worth a try. Wearing 100% pure cotton socks (no man-made fibres) helps your feet breathe better.
