I've just arrived in Beijing from South Africa where hospital costs are a lot lower than N. America/Europe. I've no idea what daily ward room rates or ICU rates are and I need to take out insurance for hospital expenses in case of an accident/sickness, etc. The International schemes seem excessively pricey for Beijing but I have no idea what is reasonable. Any advice?
Also, what is the procedure if I'm lying in the street with a broken leg? How do I get myself to a hospital?
