Have you seen a gynaecologist? If not go to Care for Women in Central (tel 3112 0480) and see Dr. Christine Choy. She will also help you with hospital recommendations.

I believe that gynaecologists in Hong Kong are not specialised in breast surgery, at least at the time when they received their training. Unlike the USA, breast disease in HK are usually dealed with by the breast surgeons rather than by the gynaecologists.

As your GP to refer you to the HK Sanatorium and Hospital for the mammogram. They have state of the art scanners and excellent radiologists. They also have a separate Well Women Health Assessment unit. You won't need to see a breast surgeon unless there is a suspicious lesion, but if you do I can recommend you a few to choose from.

i went to The Womens Clinic for a mammogram and breast ultrasound when i found a lump in my breast. found the doctors and staff there quite helpful and caring...i actually had everything done within the same visit.
