Help! Ok so I was out in Stanley for the day last Sunday and I was terribly sunburned. It hurts a lot but I can't seem to find sunburn Aloe. Can anybody recommend anything? I've checked everything from Watsons to 7-11. I bought this stuff from The Body Shop but it is only after-sun care. It's not as strong as the stuff I use in the States.

Surprised no-one has answered this one. In the early days when the pain is at its worst there are a few things you can do. Good old fashioned asprin isa good anti-infammaory (Do not give to children)Anti-histaminres are good to take at bedtime, they help the itch and also are mild sedatives. You should NOT apply oil based creams as they will inhibit the heat loss process, but water based ones will help to moisturise the skin and are very soothing.
A rather elaborate old fashioned treatment is to place cucumber slices on the burnt skin to ease the pain.

Yes, I know the stuff you mean, I'm not sure where they sell it here but you could try an oatmeal bath for itch relief?
