I used plastic wrap and then wrapped sellotape around the bottom and top to stop water leaking in.

I did have to keep rewrapping the sellotape, but then we started using masking tape and it was fine for hours. And although I am young at heart I don't think I have the exuberance of a 2.5 year old so a few layers of the stuff would be good..

I have arranged for samples to be delivered to the hospital for children's size M and L when they arrive will post again.

If it is a Plaster of Paris cast you will need to be really careful not to get wet. Fibre glass casts are a bit easier and lighter.

If leaving HK for holiday make sure to check out the hospitals at destination just in case it does get wet.
