Dr. Martin Camara is the top chiropractor in Manila (he was chosen one of 10 in a worldwide search for chiro for the winter olympics in Torino). I had sessions with him when I had slipped disc 3 years ago and I still go for "maintenance" adjustments when I'm in Manila.


Dr. Alexander, a German chiro/ortho and accupuncturist did wonders for my back too. He shuffles with Dr. Camara to and from their other branches in Greenhills and Alabang.

can you give me a rough idea of their costs please

Depends on what you need, but basic chiro adjustment with Dr. Camara will set you back between P1200-1500 (sorry don't remember exact amount even I just had one last December).


Myotherapy (deep tissue massage)is PhP 800-1000 for one hour, with hot and cold packs depending on level of pain


I was given a package in 2003 for my slipped disc. For PhP 30k, it included 12 adjustments, 12 myotherapy (this is super painful, but it really helped), 3 injections (in the spine, for pain). After a month, I was fully recovered and pain-free..


Best to call or drop by so they can assess your needs. If its an injury they might require an xray or MRI plate. If its just low back pain, then maybe not necessary.


Also as another option, you may check out the Rehab Med listing of doctors in Healthway Greenbelt. I also went there for traction and tens treatment when I had low back pain.
