dry lip remedy?

Anybody know the reason why some people suffer from constantly dry & peeling lips? Any solutions other than over the counter lip balm as they don't seem to help & sometimes make matters worse!

Have you tried using the Vaseline which comes in a tub?

Use Vaseline as it isn't alcohol based. Most lip balms are which just make matters worse really. I only rely on vaseline.

I've trusted Vaseline for almost 5 winter seasons already. I used to go for expensive lip balms but they only worsen the situation, until a friend asked me to try Vaseline. It worked even when we went skiing!

I was told once that dehydration is a major cause
