Can anyone tell me what happends when you go on the pill..does your menstruation stop...I mean if you plan to be on it for a long time...wouldn't it have side effects?

if you don't have the 7 day break between packs then yes your period can stop. but if you take the 7 day break then your period would come during this time. if you are worried about side effects you should talk to your doctor.

What side-effect would you expect? Up to my knowledge, pills are quite safe.
