At the present time there are no western doctors or western trained Chinese Family Doctors in Clinics in Suzhou.

We at the Shanghai United Family Hospital are on the Suzhou side of Shanghai and you can drive here in an hour. Call 021 5133 1900 for an appointment and cost estimate.

A GP is a great source to turn to but I would suggest you get yourself a good Accupuncturist/Herbalist/Tuina Massage therpist. Having come from a family of doctors (western educated + TCM chinese Medicine) I have many times over that day-to-day problems can be resolved best through a chinese doctor. Especially the expat problems we all suffer from. Computer/Work related muscle/stress problems, pollution issues (reduced immune system)etc. It is also a fanastic way to prevent future disease from the context of making you stronger.

My chinese doctor (who works in Xiangshan hospital) does house calls in the evening.

He's a fantastic doctor, speaks very good english and specialises treating Expats in Shanghai.

He can be contacted on:
