i have been in asia for over a deacade. i have previously been able to pay for surgery, lumpadectomies(?), MRI, CT, Xrays etc etc... Now I do not have that luxury but know my body is in decline...


Does anyone know of anywhere an expat can get any treatment... i do not have insurance. i am not elligable

do you pay HK taxes? If you are a HKID holder you are entitled to the public health care system. IT is quite good, pretty up to date and i've had very good luck with it. Look up the hospital authority for phone numbers.

I no have hong kong id but will check the websites above. i do not want to take drugs have more surgery if possible but i want to understand how to help my body.

Have you considered possibly returning to your home country, do they have better social welfare system and / or support system? Can you change to a job that offers health insurance as a benefit (pre-existing condition clauses usually only exclude for about 18 months and then covered)? Seems you also need to get some more recent medical info like CAT scan or something, to know what you are up against and what kinds of treatment options there are.
