Anybody heard of this? I was perscribed this from the doctor to give to my 10 mth old to help him sleep during 12 hour flight.Can't find any information on the internet, side effects etc

diphenhydramine. As for not wanting to give a child an antihistamine to help it sleep during a long-haul flight ... I can only hope I do not sit near you on such a flight.

Hi. I work for Dr David Stirling. He says the following, "No. She can call Universal Pharmaceutical 2562 8131 which will give her the ingredients. It is an expectorant with diphenhydramine which is sedative.:

According to one of our doctors, UNIFEM has similar qualities to BENADRYL which for coughs, runny nose and has a sedating effect to patients. It can be given to a 10 month old baby however may have side effects such as having dry mouth and irritability. Our doctor however prefers Piriton syrup as it is safer.
