Cancer survivors and fighters

I'm interested in meeting western cancer survivors,based in Hong Kong( aged 35-45) for exchange of experience and support .

If you have any suggestion please, don't mention Cansurvive which is a meeting for old women neither the new Centre of the HK Cancer Fund in Central which is currently an empty shell.

hi guys , we are all on the phase, but am not western(on the outside) am I welcome? I was not a happy camper yesterday due to my partner's x'ray result. The insensitive radiologist told him that his cancer might be back but he is not sure blah blah blah, then his doctor called him to say don't worry, come back in the morning- they might just be scar tissues. That radiologist even recommend a catscan for my husband to be sure of what was in the xray. Although my husband had a recent petscan(dec14)it says there that the cancer cell still inactive but same size. My life is no longer the same, I do not have peace of mind. Happy today, worry tomorrow. Sometimes, I tell myself- better when sleeping I do not think about this matter,

hi lammum, would love too exchange"plesantries" with you. Am not sure with my husband though. any way he came home yesterday and the doctor gave him all sorts of medicine. And also saying that no worries, comparing the xray before and today is the same- the radiologist should have not even talk to you. But you know,reading the radiologist report, he states there probably pleural effusion- probably means they are not

sure-so he is recommending a catscan. The doctor says no need- he doesn't know your history and jsut take this pills and see me after a week.

Lammum, what's with you-what type is it?

Arline is interested in meeting with people of the same boat- maybe we can have or start our own commitee and can also help other people.

What say you? But mind you Arline, you mention western and I am not. Maybe, we eliminate this kind of racial division. We just be with people and talk with people with the same predicament.
