Dermatologists

I know there have been other people asking similar questions on this forum but I am looking for a dermatologist for a family member. I know there is a Dermatology Unit (part of QMH) at the Jockey Club Clinic in Sai Ying Pun but it is difficult to get an appointment.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Most people I know who have skin problems usually go to see any one of these doctors. As far as I know, they are some of the most well-known dermatologists in HK.

I've seen Dr. Shih myself and I like him. He is an extremely busy doctor but he gave me adequate time during the appointment and I didn't feel rush at all. His consultation fee is $500 by the way. Be expected that you will usually need to wait for at least a few days before you can get an appointment. But you can try to push for an earlier appointment if it is urgent.


I was told that Dr. Wong is the more traditional type and Dr. Chan is willing to try newer medications.
