Lipitor dosage

I am travelling on Monday and have just discovered that my doctor has given me the wrong dosage for my Lipitor tablets. I usually take 40mg and she has given me 10mg (by mistake). Does anyone know if it would be OK for me to take a lower dosage for the next 8 weeks while I am away? Thanks.

take the 4 tablets in the evening (statins should be taken toward evening for better results) and things should be just fine.
