After a horrendous first time at a dentist here. I cannot get my 6 year old back there. Does anyone know if there are pediatric dentists here or a good dentist that WILL sedate her during the process.

Try Dr Jennie Tsai in Causeway Bay (2893-2386/2972-2686). My son has been going to her for 5 years - she's great with kids.

Soory Ed- forgot that I shouldn't put other websites on here.

Anyway, our friends all take their kids to Dr Raymond Lee- Pacific dental care, and my son who absolutely HATES brushing his teeth loves having his teeth cleaned by Dr Lee

I take my 3 year old son to Dr. Raymond Lee --- that man works like magic on kids. I still don't know how he can keep those kids in the chair! Cleaning and checking in a breeze, with not a mention of "sedation"

I also had 2 wisdom teeth taken out a couple of months back and it was the most "pleasant" wisdom tooth extraction one can experience. Was up and about an hour later.

Thanks for the information. I am petrified to take her back to a dentist. The last guy threatened to call a doctor to give her a needle!! She was out of control and I litterally had to lay on her so she would stop moving. Then she almost bit him. Scary.

Thank you all for your help. We are both so traumatized from the first experience that I am petrified to take her anywhere. I'm not sure what to do.

Hi,Is Jennie Tsai or Wendy Mabbott pediatric dentist? or they are general dentist but also see kids? I used to take my daughter to see special pediatric dentist who only take care of kids teeth in US. Not sure if Hong Kong has the same type of doctors. Thanks.

My son has been going to the Dental Clinic at the Canossa Hospital (Old Peak Road) since he was 2. They have a pediatric dentist there. Forgot her name though, last name is Tang. She is very good with kids, and is not expensive. Each visit costs around $250. However, she is only there on Saturdays and alternate Fridays. You can call up the hospital and ask for the Dental Clinic.
