Anyone knows of any good Periodontist, Prosthodontist and Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons in Hong Kong? I was told by a dentist that I need a series of surgeries by these specialists and I'd like to get a second opinion.
Surgeries include dental implants, bone & soft tissue grafting, crown for all teeth & jaw adjustment ...
Condition is quite severe & your recommendations are greatly appreciated !

I have been through your situation and was referred to 4 different dentists in 3 clinics and it got very messy.This clinic has a Periodontist, Oral Surgeon and a visiting Prosthodontist.Expat professional denists from Auckland and London.I did all my work 6 months ago and was quite pleased.They did lesser work and cost less as well.

I called the office of Judith Diestel & Partners but found the 2 ladies on the phone not so familar with my needs & their offers, they were kind of hard-selling ...
I am seeing 3 teams of specialists to get more opinions which overall they all identified the underlying problems & suggest similar approach, though one might propose more work than the others & propose different procedures ... I'm still analyzing & doing research so that I can better understanding what might be the best approach. After all, these surgeries might last for months & cost between 350k to 500k+, hence I better make the right decision !
In case you might want the contacts, check out Dr. Rupert Gildenhuys at Suite 1530, Prince's Building in Central - Tel : 2522 1996, he's a specialist in Periodontology (gum & bone), US trained.
Dr. Poon, a surgeon in same field also trained in the US and his office is in Prince's Building too but I don't have his contact details right with me. CAll the tel directory 1081 and ask for the tel no. of the mgmt office at Prince's Building, they'll give you Dr. Poon's tel no.
