Just wanted any recommendations on creams to remove mild surgical scar.

Thanks.

Mepiform is soft silicone dressing (sef-adhesive) and is used by cosmetic surgeons. Can be used on old and new scars.

green> You can find other brands of silicone dressing, such as Cica-Care, at most Watsons or Mannings with pharmacies.

A friend was given Mepiform to use on a wound on his neck after a large pre-cancerous mole was removed. These usually are deep, large wounds because of the amount of tissue which has to be removed. He used the waterproof dressing according to the surgeon's instruction and he has no visible scar - I know where the mole was and I really can see nothing. Mepiform stuck in my mind because it appeared to work very well and it was recommended by a top plastic surgeon. I have only found it in one place in HK (although I've not really looked hard for it) but I'll send you a PM of where to get it if you want to try it rather than the other brands. FYI, I think it is more expensive than the others but each piece can be washed and re-used a few times.

My doctor gave me Contractubex (available in Watsons and Mannings) for my c-section scar and it worked!
