I have a lump on my salivery gland (neck area) for more than 1 year. I am absolutely terrified of hospitals and surgeries but recently I am becoming a little bit more worried about my health situation. Anyway, just wondering if anyone has similar experience and how was it? I have seen 2 docs already and they both said it's not cancerous and has a low chance to turn "bad".. but it is quite visible by now. I am also considering government hospitals, does anyone know how it works? Long queue for everyone or depends on the case? Moreover, I really cannot take any time off work so if I could get it done over a weekend it would be great....
Appreciate any advice!!!

If the lump has changed in colour or size, you should have it checked out again soonest. The best advice is probably to get it checked out by a private doctor as this will avoid the waiting in the public hospitals.
