New born Circumcision

Anyone have any comments on this procedure in Hong Kong?

There is the Moya who doesn't charge for his services, he only takes tips.

Then is the one about the guy who makes wallets from the foreskins...rub it and it turns to a suitcase.


On a serious side, circumcisions are not that complicated. You have to be an idiot to screw it up. That being said, there is no medical reason to do it, but with its strong cultural influences get it done if you want to. The most compelling reason to do it is that the father is/is not circumcise. Most fathers can't get over the fact that their son may look different.


If you want I can go through all the myths (decrease urine infections, decrease rates of cervical cancer in sex partners etc...all myths), but I would just bore the hell out of everyone.


Bottom line, do it if you want to but don't feel that you "should". As for who, anyone willing to do it is a good candidate assuming he/she uses standard equipment and not just a knife/scalpel. Actually I bet a guy with Parkinsons can do it just fine.

jojo67,thanks for your reply.We have decided to go ahead with the circumcision and I plan to be there with my new little guy for the operation.Roulin Fuong comes highly recommended and thats who we will be using.
