it's just a thought but my daughter had a constantly runny nose and was rubbing her eyes a lot as well. I took bread out of her diet and amazingly the symptoms stopped....she has it occasionally now, but I keep an eye on how much she has.Might be worth a try before you start paying money?

There are two ways to test for allergies.
Blood test: Highly in accurate but the test (RAST) can test for different allergens without too much fuss. But highly inacurrate under any circumstances.
Skin testing: Put a panel of allergens on the back. Unreliable in kids under 6. Even in adults there is a ten percent false positive and a ten percent false negative. It involves laying the patient face down on an exam table. The you drop all the allergens (20, I believe when I had it done) onto the back. Then you take a needle to scratch and break the skin on each one. Then you sit for a few minutes and look for a reaction. The reason I got into the details is, think what your 2 year old is doing during all of this. My guess is that he'll be crying and screaming all the way through it as you and the staff in the clinid is holding him/her down with brute force. Keep that image in mind.
Bottom line, highly inaccurate for a two year old under any circumstances. The best way is by experience. But if you are desperate, good luck. Bear in mind that the result should only be used to help you find a pattern by MAYBE narrowing down the possible allergens.-

You might wish to try Dr Lynn Lim. She sees a lot of kids with allergies and practises NAET. I'm seeing her for my food allergies.
