hi there

Has anyone been to Charity Chu in Wanchai? Her qualifications and website look very interesting.

I have a recurring problem with muscles irratating the sciatic nerve. It has come back again after overdoing yoga and exercise. I have never tried accupuncture and thought it might be good as well as the physio. But as I am new to Hong Kong I would like a recommendation if possible. Any other alternatives would be welcome.

Madxpat,

Have you ever tried accupressure? It is a like a massage but they pin point the nerves/muscles that are causing the problem. I would highly recommend this. I have had neck/shoulder and upper back problems for years - yoga helps but never really get rid of the problem. Accupressure makes me feel like I have a new body.

thanks for that. Sounds interesting. Where do you go in Hong Kong? Do you have the contact details? Is it expensive? Do you have to go continually or just every now and then to keep your pain in check? Regards.

I think that the team of Margaret Tang and Associates are the best physios that I've ever tried. They are in Central (2522-3211) They do a combination of Massage, Adjustment, acupuncture and excersize that is really great. I highly recommend them. They've worked wonders for my pain.
