Adding Lemon to Bottled Water?

I like to add a bit of 'Real Lemon' juice to bottled water to give it a bit of taste.

Is the acidic content of adding the lemon juice unhealthy for the body or teeth?

I start my day off with two mugs of hot water with a good squeeze of lemon in them. I really like it. A doctor once told me it is good to start the day off with this drink - it is supposed to be detox. If that is true - then the same should apply to bottled water.

Because it is so diluted, I wouldn't have thought that a squeeze of lemon in a glass of water would be an issue re tooth enamel erosion, and I too have heard that it's a good way to kick start the digestion if you drink it first thing each morning. Fresh lemon juice is obviously better than any bottled product.

lemon juice in water is a fantastic way to start the day before eating in the morning, as it cleanses and detoxes the liver aswell as being refreshing!! keep up the habit!!

According to the Cadbury Schweppes website, Real Lemon has the following ingredients: "Lemon Juice From Concentrate (Water, Concentrated Lemon Juice), Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Metabisulfite And Sodium Sulfite (Preservatives), Lemon Oil." so it's not that natural really. That's why I mentioned fresh lemon juice being a healthier option...
