Im so worried my father-in-law. He's been in the hospital for 3 weeks. Doc said he's got salmonella but now he's got low blood sugar lever and irregular heart. Really worried. He's in the UK. He's 65. Anyone has experience? How long does it take to recover ?

Hi, Any doctors here can help ?as the docs in the UK don't know what's going on in this rare case. He's now got septicemia. Started eating a bit but the bowel is not working. The food just went straight through his bowel. Luckily, the doc said he's absorbing though. Really worried. Any docs got comments on this case?
