Can anyone please tell me where I can buy a traditional walking stick in HK ie not one of the tramping variety ? A good friends elderly mother has arrived in HK for a short holiday and has left hers at home. Thanks in advance.

There are many medical shops around that sell them, plus the orthopaedic outpatients in the government hospitals have a shop where you can buy medical supplies including walking sticks, crutched etc, although not 100% sure if you need a referral for those. Also some of the market stalls sell them, got a lovely rosewood one, with chinese writing on for my father once.(that was down Temple st)
