hiv tested negative

I would just like to be advice on some of my concerns over the past few days of paranoi for hiv test.


I had a total of 3 protected intercourse, three of them didn't last much long time which can reduce the risk of any transmission as I suppose.


First one was 6 months ago and the latest one was about 2 months (60 days) ago.



After not realizing how irresponsible I was, it started to hit my back. Was it my consious or my intention to do so. Anyway to get it straight I rush to my nearest clinic and got my blood tested for STD screening and got the results back from lab for negative for HIV 1 and 2 and sypillus. The other 3 is just about to come but not so important as they are known symtoms which I didn't have any of it.


My main point here is that I only told my doctor about the accurance of the 6 months ago and he told me clearly that the 6 months ago for protected sex and hiv results is negative is good enough. But I start to wonder what about the last 2 months ago one 9o days intercourse? Although that intercourse is not really so real and just a quick one I don't think that can transmit any of it, right? so I'm kind of worring to much now and want to know the possibilities ....


And also as I check the web for information. Hiv has incumbation period of 3- 4 weeks after infection. does this mean that after 4 weeks if blood is infected, it should show on my report that I'am already invected as it is already 90 days ago, as 4 weeks is only 20 days after infection? And does the stages goes on sequence? meaning incubation then acute hiv then so on and on? Can you bypass incubation and go straight to acute hiv..? So which does mean if a person is infected say today .. after at least 1 month if there is any hiv screening done .. the results should be accurate already?



My most only conerns is that if my test came out yesterday and that can reassure me that my last November protected intercourse is ok and had none of this transmission.

You need a test 6 months after the last unprotected intercourse ie in another 4 months


However..


For peace of mind you could do a test in a month ie 3 months after the last intercourse as most seroconversions in fact happen within the first 3 months and if you are clear at that first 3 month test then you can relax a bit as late seroconversion less likely

Thanks for the reply. But my situation is different as I said, I receive the test result just yesterday and returned negative considering my Protected intercourse - 1 August 2008 in six months ago and the other was last November 2008 2-3 months ago.


My major only most concern is base on no symtoms at all from november and as I know at least after 2 - 4 weeks, the hiv once invected ... it can be detected by the lab test I conducted, right?



And the intercourses was all with protection and as I remember it only did last for longest 3- 5 mins.



What can be the chances? Can I now rely on the lab test as negative if I were to count back the most recent intercourse last November 2008? Please advice. Thanks

If the sex was protected why are you rushing out to have HIV tests, usually you do this when having unprotected sex !!!

yes you have it correctly said. I guess I was just too paranoid about the three happenings. I think it's becoming for of a conscience then facts that I'm feeling. Today I'm better thinking Yes" why should I be so worry about of!


So which means if the intercourse last november was protected and was just only a 3 min duration which was just really quick. I should be so worried about?


I think this answers it all ... Tell me, I should be worry as I had protected 3 mins intercourse? And my results as negative for Full STD screening is now good enough if the last were to be las November?
