Looking for an Australian Dermatologist in Hong Kong

I'm looking for an Australian Dermatologist in Hong Kong to check out some problem moles that I have. Nothing against Chinese people, they just don't have the experience with melanomas that Australians have.

Can anyone help me out?

Could you go with another Western non-Australian doctor? I'm sure an American, Canadian or European doctor could also help you.

well there don't seem to be ANY western dermatologists here. Instances of skin cancer are much lower here than where I'm from because Chinese people have different skin and most people here don't spend their lives in the sun like in Australia. That's why I'm after an Australian.

I've made an appointment with a chinese dermatologist for Friday, we'll see how that goes

I know this is a very old thread, but I'm wondering if you found anyone? I'm a Qld'er and I paid $6000HKD to have a tiny mole cut out of my arm last year by a Quality Health Care dermatologist. It was classed as an 'operation'. My GP in Brisbane would have ripped it out and bulkbilled me:) I have a friend whose daughter was told she had a melanoma on her scalp so my friend flew her home and found out it was some kind of an allergy which went away after treatment.

Did you find anyone with Australian skin experience? I know I've got some things to be done...

Thanks!

Carolyn
