My husband hurt his back

My husband had a fall and hurt his back while playing squash. He needs to see the doctor but it seems no one has a walk-in appointment available.

Dr Julian Chang came the most recommended from my friends and the forums but his clinic has the most rude and downright-unhelpful staff member I've encountered. She told me that the doc has no time till next Monday. I understand the doc has a full calendar but what about emergencies?

I've just moved to HK so didn't know who else to call. Can anyone recommend a good orthopedic?

My friend called her doctor out recently when her little boy was sick recently as he did not want to take him to AE. The doctor told her this housecall service was initally for the patients of her practices but they were expanding to include patients outside the practice which I thought was great ideai as we don't hear of many doctor doing homevisits nowadays!! Plus she was an expat dr who was experienced in home visit as she was from uk.

I think they can be contact on info@doctorsdirect.com.hk, dont have the number though

I also injured my back badly 2 months ago, and my colleague recommended a Dorn Method therapist to me. It is a very mild and safe therapy to rebalance misalignments in the spine. The result really surprised me, I felt significant relief in the first treatment, and I hardly feel the pain after the third session. I was also taught how to self help and realign my own back, it’s amazing. You may take a look at www.Dorn-method.com for more information.
