You are correct - there is no way you reduce fat on specific parts of the body. Exercise is important but without cutting down calories and fat you'd need an hour of very intense activity (e.g. a competitive basketball game) to burn off the calories. It would take two hours at a moderate pace on a walking machine to kill off two beers...

dannyboy, have you considered doing toning exercises on top of your usual cardio workouts?

I know toning for the stomach and abs can help tighten those love handles. Maybe you can ask an instructor to point you in the right direction.

I don't know about those machines, but if you want to try power plates, it helps a lot. Taking Chromium Piccolinate helps too as does the Flex Belt.

I've been in the same situation as you. Before, cut to the bone and packed on some nice muscle, but still had that little bit at the bottom of my stomach to get rid of which wouldn't budge!


As far as mence...or any programs like it, I don't think it will do much but if you don't have much to lose and you are doing the proper exercise and diet, a program like that MAY help to go that extra 1 - 1.5 percent you may be seeking. I did a program before called LPG something something...I honestly don't know if it helped or not but the bottom line is, you need to have everything in line for that to work and even if it does, it will be very little. At this moment, i am having some treatment with Mence in HK , it works better than another slim center (4dwellbeingcentre in Central , a real scam ! but that's my point of view)...

I've spoken to William from there before as well and didn't like his attitude at all. My advice is to stay away!
